  1. A clean piece of cloth
  2. A soft toothbrush.
  3. A soft shoe brush.
  4. A small bowl
  5. Baking Soda
  6. Lukewarm water.
  7. Mild dishwashing detergent.

Steps To Clean Your Fabric Boots

  • Make sure your shoes are dry, particularly if there is dirt or soil on them.
  • Use the delicate shoe brush to smoothly clean off the hard spits of dust or mud.
  • Gently clean the shoes with a piece of dry cloth to remove any left dirt or soil.
  • If your shoes have laces, take them off.
  • Fill a little bowl with lukewarm water and add a gentle dish solvent and leave your shoelaces to soak for a couple of hours.
  • If your shoes contain inserts, also get them out.
  • If your fabric boots are made of canvas, thoroughly clean the inner and outer parts out with tepid water.
  • Get yet another dish and form a dense paste using lukewarm water with baking soda.
  • Use this blend and an old toothbrush to the stained patches of your boots.
  • Don’t worry about using too much of the paste as the baking soda is fairly cheap and it won’t damage the fabric of your shoes.
  • Rinse again with a towel moistened in warm water.
  • Fill the shoes with newspaper or a Drysure Extreme Boot Dryer and leave them to dry.

PS: if you put your shoes out in the sun to dry they WILL get too stiff and you may not be able to wear them again…

  • Now, get to your shoelaces and clean them well. Rinse and let them to dry as well.

  • Be cautious not to over-soak the fabric of the shoes when you cleaning them.
